Human Rights

 

We recognize and are committed to respecting human rights, labor rights, and the environment. We follow the UN Global Compact's ten principles for responsible business conduct.

These principles are incorporated into our internal Ethical Guidelines and our Code of Conduct, which applies to both suppliers and customers.

 

Due Diligence

Each year, we conduct a due diligence assessment to identify our impact on human rights, workers' rights, and the environment.

 

Transparency

We are fully transparent about our efforts to safeguard fundamental human rights, decent working conditions, and the environment. Anyone seeking more information about our efforts is welcome to contact us, and we will respond within three weeks. Inquiries can be sent to: qa@haakonellingsen.no

 

Whistleblowing / Complaints

We encourage anyone to report if we directly or indirectly violate human rights, labor rights, or environmental standards. Whistleblowers will not be punished or subjected to any disadvantage as a result of the report, and anonymity will be ensured upon request.

The Quality Manager will report the case to the Managing Director, who will decide on appropriate actions to address the issue. The whistleblower will be kept informed about the measures taken and the outcomes.
