Basket Strainere
Cast steel and welded (fabricated) basket strainers in either a single (simplex) or double (duplex) configuration

- Basket strainers offer a large filtration surface and minimum pressure loss (dP) compared to its overall size.
- The design allows it to be very customizable (extra nozzles, davit, legs, …)
- Simplex strainers are used where the line can be shut down for short periods when it is necessary to clean or change the filter baskets
- Duplex strainers can operate continuously and do not need any shutdown for cleaning operations. This type of strainer has two separate baskets that operate independently (duty/standby). When one basket is clogged, the flow is diverted to the other one, allowing for maintenance while the system keeps running.
